We want our 1 million residents to live healthier and longer lives and during this summer we are encouraging everyone to learn more about their own heart health and the things they can do to improve it.
This dedicated page is designed to be a one-stop shop with resources and links to help you improve your heart health.
What is the Heart Age Test?
The test is a simple online assessment where anyone over 30 can input basic physical and lifestyle-related information to get an immediate estimation of their ‘heart age.’
According to a new analysis of the 1.3 million people who have already used the heart age test, more than one in ten men aged 50 (11%) are living with a heart age that is 10 years older than they are, meaning they are at a higher risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
The good news is that your heart age is not set in stone. By making changes to your lifestyle by giving up smoking, getting more active and having a healthy diet you can make a huge difference to your heart health.
